Questions about nsw practice papers by year

Are these official NSW papers?

No. They are original practice papers written for the NSW format and syllabus, and they are not affiliated with the NSW Department of Education or NESA.

What is the difference between the Year 2 to 4 papers and the Opportunity Class papers?

The Year 2 to 4 papers practise school English and Maths. The Opportunity Class papers copy the three sections of the OC placement test, which is sat in Year 4.

Which papers suit a Year 6 student preparing for selective entry?

The Selective papers follow the four sections of the placement test: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills and Writing.

Which HSC papers are available?

Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics (Standard 2, Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2) and English Standard papers. Several NSW syllabuses are changing, so check NESA for the version your exam follows.
